Social Workers (MSW) are responsible for the following:

• Provides psycho social counseling and crisis interventions to patients/families as needed.
• Advocates on behalf of the patients/families to enable them to obtain necessary services.
• Provides on call services to meet the patientrsquo;s social/discharge needs after hours.

The Social Worker (MSW) will provide social work services and enhance the patientrsquo;s and/or familyrsquo;s ability to cope with physical, emotional, and environmental problems related to illness/convalescence and discharge plan. Qualifications for this position include:

• Masters of Social Work (MSW)
• Two (2) years hospital based social work experience
• Active LSW/LCSW certifications required in NJ, preferred in PA
